This event was started for Martin and Mea in 2016, just a few short years later we will host the Sanfilippo smash 6 without both. Mea passed away September 24, 2019 and Martin passed April 9th, 2021. It has been a hard road since, but we are putting our efforts into helping other families who struggle, and are still fighting this monster. Sanfilippo Smash has quickly become one of the largest donators for the research and cure of the disease.
Please help support this one-of-a-kind annual charity derby to raise awareness for Sanfilippo Syndrome. Our goal is to raise money for research and development of a cure for Sanfilippo Syndrome. In addition, we aim to raise awareness for the disease and assist families with much needed supplies and support.
